BONANZA

This is a quote from the HWA Horror Writers Association.

In 1997,the horror field started to emerge from a decade long slump.

Today 16 years later, another decade.Horror is commercially viable. Its imprint is to be found at most major publishing house's,and is a sure sell, for youth-oriented films,television/cable programming and video games.

                                    BONANZA! I don't mean the Cartwright's.

I am a fiction writer, but the reality is.....horror/sci-fi,is a mega bucks industry.Has been, and will always be.We artists of color, are almost half of a century behind, when it comes to sharing a part of this BONANZA?

So...why can't we be more like the Cartwright's?
